In the article, "14 Reasons Why You Should Exercise Everyday" written by Laura McDonald, she mentions how regular exercise is a big part of a healthy lifestyle and how everyone should commit to it for a longer life. Laura lists the reasons for exercise in her article and all the benefits it may bring into your life. The first being how exercise provides you with a natural high. When you work out, chemicals called endorphins are released in your body. These spark a positive, euphoric feeling. You will also have better sex when you work out because it helps boost testosterone in both males and females. Physical activity also helps to reduce PMS symptoms because it counts as a natural antidepressant. This also improves cognitive function and memory such as reasoning, memory, attention span, and the expansion of information and knowledge. Being fit or working towards getting fit will boost your confidence and make you feel much more energetic. Laura mentions a good point in saying
you'll sleep better when you've had a good workout, and physical activity helps keep your circadian rhythm on track.
I agree with what she says because it definitely helps relive stress and calm you down throughout the day. Planning your workout during the day and avoiding exercising too close to bedtime will affect your sleep schedule as well. Not only will exercising tap into your creativity but your cardiovascular health will also thank you. Studies show that creative thinking improves while a person is walking, either indoors or outdoors. When you exercise, you feel better, look better, feel stronger. You also feel a sense of accomplishment and that rush of endorphins has a ripple effect on everything you do. There are so many benefits to working out daily that there isn't really any cons to this! You'll look and feel younger, as well as strengthen your muscles and bones at the same time. In the end, after a long workout, your mind and body will feel happier knowing you got up and hit your daily move goals for the day.
